What do I need to purchase property?

• Land and Building Tax Receipt 2009/ Certificate of Payment
• WASA Clearance Certificate or WASA Bill
• Valuation Report
• BIR Numbers of Purchasers
• ID's and Proof of Address of all parties
• Survey Plan (not in all instances)

The stamp duty payable to register any instrument is contained in the Stamp Duty Act, 76:01. Different instruments have a different rate of stamp duty. Contact us to calculate Stamp Duty or provide an invoice free of charge.

All civil claims of a monetary value of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) or less must be heard in the Petty Civil Court whereas all claims above the value of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) is heard in the High Court.
